Job Description


Key Responsibilities:


  • Without direct supervision, leads a team responsible for coordinating with product team to track and drive a portfolio management process, which includes: points of contact documentation and artifacts related to annual and multi-year investment roadmap; ensures corporate level investment recommendations and business unit prioritization based on cross-portfolio assessment and annual budget planning, including process and artifacts required to establish the annual plan of record. Will be accountable for supporting the existing plan of record, providing continual updates on source data.
  • Leads or executes assignments related to various business activities of a business unit to support strategic initiatives and projects and for the efficient operation of day to day business. Responsibilities may include budgeting, demand data analysis, resource optimization, financial analysis and control, leadership development, assisting with assessment of technology and training needs, customer and employee communication and hiring and partnering with Human Resources on various company-wide efforts. Provides business unit support for financial analysis, budget and headcount forecasts, reporting and other initiatives.
  • Facilitates collaboration of large projects across multiple functional areas. Tracks, oversees, reports and prioritizes assignments to ensure progress and successful completion. Supports other strategic business operations projects, as required, including initiatives to improve internal operations and processes. Leads or executes communication plans for customers and/or employees.  Coordinates project benefits and capabilities that the organization can utilize to sustain, enhance and deliver portfolio objectives. Manages ongoing work through governance structures, assists in creating high level plans that provide guidance to projects where detailed plans are established. Helps drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred. 
  • Minimum 4 years related experience. Advanced computer software skills.
  • Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to team members.  
  • PMP Certification and/or 5 years experience managing projects.
  • Sound knowledge of both IT software development and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up.  
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, ensure quality and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.  
  • Experience with Enterprise Agile Planning (EAP) Tools such as Broadcom’s Rally, JIRA Software by Atlassian, etc. desired but not required.
