In Digital Connect (DC) we work on creating the world’s most advanced middleware API for airline individual, corporate and Travel Trade clients. 

 

We are one of the airline’s most important applications generating significant revenue for airlines. Our technology allows airlines not only to sell tickets but also maintain relationship with clients by offering post-purchase servicing (exchanges, refunds, modifying trip options etc.). We are the first point of contact for clients. We also allow airlines to save on distribution costs. Additionally, our APIs are used by airport and call center applications, that help airline front line employees serve their clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Under general direction, formulates and defines complex systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of business systems and industry requirements
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation of proper system requirement specifications
  • Works on enterprise system problems of diverse scope where analysis and evaluation of functionality is required
  • Supports the successful delivery, enhancement, and maintenance of Digital Connect products
  • Ensures new product functionality is delivered as required and does not impact existing products
  • Provides support to Quality Assurance and Software Development teams
  • Responsible for incorporating requirements into Developer level user stories (Agile methodology)
  • Assist in the development of acceptance criteria working with the Quality Assurance team
  • Provides assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing cost effect systems and procedures that meet the requirements of the end user
  • May provide consultation to users in the area of represented systems
  • Researches and analyzes current systems to gain an understanding of customer business requirements that are needed to support development of new solutions. 

 

Job Requirements

 

‘Must have’ skills:

 

  • Ability to explain complex requirements in clear and understandable manner (in the form of user stories and solution design) and to perform systems analysis
  • Communicative and detail oriented
  • Acts independently and under general direction
  • Works within international environment
  • Very good command of English – oral and written
  • Good at multitasking, manages multiple projects workload. Analyzes, develops and writes functional requirements
  • Knowledge of JSON/XML/web services

 

‘Nice to have’ skills:

 

  • Travel agency or airline background plus experience in reservation/pricing/ticketing areas
  • Knowledge of modeling techniques (UML) and requirements specification (Use Cases, User Stories)
  • Knowledge of Postman, ability to read XML logs, familiarity of XML schemas (Dev Studio etc.)
  • Willingness to develop as a Technical Product Manager/Business Analyst and work using Agile methodologies
  • Professional experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.
