Job Description

We are currently looking for a professional with customer support experience & technical skillset to join our technical operations team. The team is responsible for the maintenance Sabre Red 360 system, including full production system ownership and 3rd level customer support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

⦁    Introducing configuration changes to development/certification/production systems
⦁    Assisting customers in troubleshooting the problems
⦁    Working with 2nd level support
⦁    Working with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
⦁    Writing and managing scripts and utilities to enhance/automate day to day administration activities
⦁    Advising architecture, product development & product management on technical hardware and software issues
⦁    Assisting in the development of software technical documentation

Job Requirements


⦁    Education: B.S. degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
⦁    Experience: 4+ years’ experience in software engineering and/or customer support


⦁    Understanding of Sabre systems and how it’s used by travel agents
⦁    Experience with change control systems
⦁    Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
⦁    Good written and verbal English communication skills
⦁    Good analytical skills
⦁    Team working skills
⦁    Flexibility: position may be contacted from various entry points and time zones and may need to be available outside of their normal business schedule

Nice to have:

⦁    Knowledge of Agile (Kanban or Scrum methodology)
⦁    Practical knowledge of Linux operating system
⦁    Ability to use various tools including packet analyzers, Microsoft supplied tools, JDK supplied tools, and Proxies for troubleshooting
⦁    Experience with desktop/application/user virtualization including Terminal Server and Citrix
⦁    Experience in Version Control System (GIT preferred)
⦁    Knowledge of SQL
⦁    Experience in Continuous Integration tools like TeamCity or Jenkins
⦁    Experience working with GCP
⦁    Excitement for the latest trends in application design
