Job Description

Sabre’s Travel Network team is looking to hire a Senior level Product & Technology Consultant!  This PTC will be responsible for global accounts including multiple platforms and diverse locations. You will be responsible for creating relationships with the customer’s product and technical experts, understanding their unique business challenges and needs, ensuring issue resolution, and driving investment alignment between the customer and the Sabre organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in product and technical roles with travel management companies.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and share best practices with other Product & Technology Consultants for named account and across the organization
  • Serve as advisor to the internal sales team and customers regarding the resolution of complex product and technical issues that affect the sale, installation and utilization of organization products and/or services
  • Propose changes in products and/or services that result in increased efficiency or adoption by the customer Provide project management guidance and oversight of key engagements to ensure successful implementations
  • Effectively balance resources across complex multiple projects and locations to ensure customer needs are met
  • Determine the viability of customer-driven requests for computer-related systems, third party tools and connectivity solutions including front, mid and back office
  • Provide issue resolution in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships across Sabre and the customer’s organization
  • Share results and feedback from key customer engagements with internal teams
  • Provide customer advocacy internally through product development discussions
  • Drive Sabre product investment alignment with the customer’s needs
  • Develop a strong relationship with other internal teams to ensure alignment, communication and adherence to shared vision of our strategic customer base
  • Represent Sabre at industry and customer events

Job Requirements

Must have skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry
  • Strong product and technical skills to drive ongoing technical account management efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to lead discussions with customer and drive internal alignment around customer needs
  • Excellent internal and external collaboration skills
  • Strong project management skills and a willingness to engage in a hands-on way
  • Some travel to international locations may be required


Nice to have:

  • Deep technical and functional understanding of SWS (Sabre Web Services/API)
  • 5 years of experience in manager-level, hands-on technical customer facing roles
  • Experience with technology companies servicing corporate customers
  • MBA or advanced technical degree
