Job Description

 

This role is part of the Delivery organization and is assigned to one or more airline customers on our eCommerce solutions. Within the team, this role will be the primary point of contact responsible for defining and ensuring execution of Delivery agreements. Including but not limited to data collection and implementation support, solution performance evaluations, reporting and customer training. Under general direction, delineates requirements to solve complex business problems using differing technologies and systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintain strong business relationships and work collaboratively across the leadership team, ensuring alignment between business objectives and Delivery priorities
  • Work collaboratively to evolve the Delivery offerings to provide greater value to our customers
  • Identify opportunities for eCommerce solutions with services to provide greater value to our customers
  • Provide input into the sales and consulting processes, to enable the establishment of processes and policies and negotiation of terms and agreements
  • Manage Key Customer Relationships and Interactions
  • Work directly with customer Business teams, Project/Program Managers and IT team members as appropriate
  • Direct and coordinate team activities to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget
  • Lead and coordinate the estimation, planning and execution of approved Delivery engagements and projects
  • Meet with the customers and internal teams to review project health
  • Gather, share, and help prioritize customer feedback on products and processes
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and act accordingly
  • Participate and conduct demos, workshops, solution performance reviews, and help plan the execution and transition for newly implemented solutions
  • Perform Project Management duties including timelines, status reports, budget, etc.
  • Provide functional/technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of systems flows, engineering documentation, tools and architecture concepts required
  • View across multiple functional domains (within Sabre and its customer).

  • Have a positive impact on the definition and execution of Delivery Activities
  • Streamline the productivity of the overall team by managing scope, resourcing and execution of eCommerce Delivery projects
  • Support and reinforce the perception of eCommerce Delivery as a high-quality, high-value offering by:
    • Implementing projects and delivering
    • Identifying process improvements
  • Support Development colleagues by assisting with functionality questions, addressing testing issues, training customers on new products
  • All delivery planning aspects for deployment of a service or product
  • Provide consultation and best practices to users regarding detailed functionalities of ecommerce and loyalty products
  • Works with sales and account management teams in upselling new products and services to customers.
     

Job Requirements

 

Requirements:

 

  • Knowledge of managing and supporting APIs
  • Experience on Travel Industry and Airlines processes
  • Ecommerce knowledge
  • Frontend Developer: experience of working with HTML, CSS and Jscript
  • Knowledge of technical languages as XML, SOAP, REST or HTML
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of API usage and industry best practices
  • Good knowledge of Swagger API framework and web and/or mobile software development.
