Job Description


The Strategic Business Transformation Leader conducts a cross-functional effort focused on business and process transformation, continuous improvement, project management, and business analysis. This role will provide strategic thought leadership and align prioritization across different functional areas. The Principal Strategic Business Transformation analyst will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting large, complex business transformation initiatives that are highly visible and critical to the business. With a focus on revenue, cost reduction, and the customer journey, the analyst will deliver transformation to benefit Travel Solutions and our customers. You will have freedom to innovate on how to collect data intelligence, fact-based artifacts, current state process design, and future state to help solve complex problems using a combination of process and transformation methodologies.


Roles and Responsibility


• Focus on transformational initiatives that will enable functions to improve both efficiency and control through process optimization in core internal systems (SAP, Salesforce, Jira, PPM, etc.)
• Lead or serve as a participant in groups responsible for executing on specific transformation project initiatives and goals
• Assemble and deliver ongoing communication to key stakeholders at all levels around the business transformation progress
• Assess the existing processes and ensure process definition, process map creation, and key metrics for each process
• Improve business operations by evaluating processes and recommending improvements
• Collaborate to ensure project management of key defined initiatives within each team with a clear project plan including deliverables and dependencies
• Prepare and deliver reports which address the current status of projects with clear accountability of follow-ups and escalations
• Develop a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous learning to achieve deliverables aligned to business outcomes
• Balance multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
• Develop cross functional relationships across the organization to drive efficiency in the project planning, implementation, and control phases of the business change

Job Requirements


Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of experience in transformation, business process reengineering, and project management. Corporate systems experience such as Salesforce and/or SAP required.

• Experience with business process management to include process definition and end to end process mapping
• Proven leadership ability within transformation
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Curious learner who enjoys learning new business functions with a track record of picking up new systems and technology quickly and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable connecting and communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization
• Ability to work with new and changing situations
• Strong listening and comprehension skills, as well as the ability to develop and clearly articulate a perspective
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly developed sense of accountability and follow-through with an ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and goals
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills needed to delivery timely on requested projects
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Six sigma certification a plus
