Job Description

The GPD organization Program Manager will lead complex technology programs with responsibility for high level planning, program execution and delivery in a product oriented, distributed agile environment. Program Manager will drive IT initiatives in order to achieve the goals and strategic objectives of the organization.



  • Be responsible for organizing strategic and customer programs and activities for GPD organization. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. 
  • Work in a complex enterprise-wide development environment supporting large programs by driving planning, timing and reporting to ensure delivery of program commitments
  • Coordinate and align efforts and schedules across matrix-managed teams and BUs 
  • Support program planning and monitoring of objectives, scope, resources, budget, schedule and reporting progress against objectives
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
  • Lead the development of program-level governance and process documentation to ensure quality and transparency
  • Drive execution of plans and enforce accountability by key stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the adopted operating model
  • Proactively remove barriers that prevent efficient execution of deliverables and formulate mitigation plans to address program risks
  • Produce metrics-driven reporting to represent program status, risks, dependencies and actions; deliver executive level presentations
  • Facilitate program level issues and change management resolution



Job Requirements


  • Proven experience in project or program management; preferably in large initiatives 
  • Minimum 8 years related experience 
  • Proven stakeholder management and strong relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Experience in working in both Agile and waterfall environment
  • Min. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional problem solving and decision-making capabilities


Additional assets:


  • PMP and/or Agile Project Management certificates 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization, including executive-level audience
  • Experience in using SDLC tools supporting Agile environment (Rally, JIRA etc.) 
  • Very good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills in English
