Job Description


The GDS Data Services team is responsible for ensuring the activation of hotel chains. Brands or individual properties to the existing Global Distribution Systems.
Our customers, the hoteliers will build their properties in the Synxis System and the Data Services agents will make sure the connection between the Content Reservation System and the GDS is made.

Once properties are live the team will support with the ongoing maintenance activities such as rate mapping, hod updates, deletions and other miscellaneous tasks.

This position requires the coordination of activities and timelines possibly with internal departments as well as customer activities. The Data Services agent must be able to multi-task and simultaneously manage multiple mailboxes, each at various stages of the process as well as meeting the average SLA duration. 

The selected candidate must also be able to identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions associated with projects. 




  • Onboarding of new & existing customer activations 
  • Rate mapping in the CR and GDS systems
  • Make sure the SLA duration is met
  • Maintaining relationships with customers and partners (email)
  • Maintaining relationships with internal departments 
  • Providing updates to the supervisor requesting help with support and escalations 
  • Attending required meetings 
  • Manage assigned internal goals taking ownership for a successful completion 
  • Support coverage of multiple mailboxes 
  • Staying up to date with all new releases, functionality, product launches, SHS strategy and initiatives. 

Job Requirements


  • Strong planning organizational skills combined with excellent time management 
  • Attention to detail and impeccable follow through & ownership of results 
  • Intermediate English written and verbal communication 
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines 
  • Ability to work globally (and virtually) with a variety of cultures 
  • Ability to troubleshoot, research & resolve issues to customers satisfaction 
  • Excel knowledge is required
  • Experience working with GDS/s a plus
