Sabre Travel Solutions 2.0


Sabre’s Travel Solutions 2.0 (TS) business offers a broad range of software and data solutions to help airlines market themselves, sell products, serve customers and operate more efficiently. 


Travel Solutions services approximately 225 airlines including network carriers, hybrids and low cost carriers, primarily through Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and hosted models, providing lower cost of ownership, flexibility, and scalability as airlines grow. The company also serves approximately 700 other customers including airports, cargo and charter airlines, corporate fleets, governments and tourism boards.


We are an IT technical team distributed between Dallas, MVD and BLR. We are responsible for the operations of the shared systems and software components that are used across different or all Sabre applications. 

General role description:



  • Works under general supervision.
  • Work on a wide range of technologies including Citrix, Amazon Web Services (ASW) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Operate, deploy monitor and troubleshoot Linux Servers.
  • Operate, deploy monitor and troubleshoot Citrix.
  • Admin, configure and operate the tools used to monitor systems performance.
  • Comfortable troubleshooting customer reported issues.
  • Comfortable using a web based GUI to do day-to-day tasks.
  • Plan software installation/updates, operating systems patching and software packages deployment, in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Sabre IT Governance.
  • Develop and maintain a complete documentation of applications/systems configuration and internal procedures.
  • Work on projects with multiple teams through sabre.
  • Frequent interaction with other Sabre teams like Software Architects, Systems Engineers, Applications developers and Customers Care.
  • Participate in the rotational On Call phone support.


Job Requirements


'Must have' skills:


  • Linux Server Administration
  • AWS or GCP exposure
  • Advanced oral and written communication level in English
  • Proactivity, responsibility, collaboration and teamwork
  • Multi-tasking work capabilities
  • Good planning and organizational skills, capable of supporting planned timelines activities
  • Ability to research and learn new technologies with minimum supervision.

'Nice to have' skills:



  • Certification with AWS/Google cloud technology
  • Certification in Linux
  • Familiarity with ITIL, change, problem and incident management processes.
