Job Description

General Description: 

  • Part of a small but dynamic sales and delivery analytics support team that drives and supports the attainment of sales and revenue objectives
  • Develops new reporting and analytical models to ensure optimizing sales and revenue to the business via reduced cancellations, higher margins, increased adoption, etc.
  • Responsible for designing and delivering moderate to complex sales and service reporting including sales, pipeline analysis, revenue realization, commission tracking, etc.
  • Provides moderate to complex analytical support to sales organization globally
  • Provides improvements to workflow management to drive efficiencies in the sales and service organizations


Key functions of the ideal candidate include:

  • Operationalize the SHS global strategy within the sales and delivery areas by assisting in cross-functional opportunities to grow business and improve execution from pipeline to billing
  • Help develop cross-functional initiatives which expand the business such as targeted sales focus and better opportunity identification
  • Delivers business intelligence solutions to report on key metrics and measurements across functional areas to detail the health of the SHS business at high level with drill down capabilities
  • Collaborates with all levels of sales, finance, strategy, product, delivery, technology and marketing


Candidate will help scale the business profitability by combining financial focus, sales acceleration, technical automation/support, and sophisticated tracking/reporting with most current information & data available. 


The role will focus on supporting SHS’ strategic approach to scaling the business by contributing to:

  • Understanding macro view of trends of hospitality and improving our ability to compete globally
  • Develop frameworks to address challenges and opportunities
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and research assignments

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree; MBA or MS preferred 


Experience Requirements:

  •  5-10 yrs experience
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate to all levels – able to get to the “so what” and tell an effective story to conclusion and recommendation
  • Highly motivated team player with ability to work with ambiguity and complex projects
  • Innovative-thinker able to connect disparate ideas for thought-leading break-throughs
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills with working knowledge of Pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Qlikview, SAP or other ERP systems
