Sabre provides software to travel agencies, corporations, travelers, airlines, hotels, car retail, cruise and tour operator companies.

 

Flight Plan Manager combines complete data support services — notice to airmen (NOTAMS), weather, airport suitability and airspace restrictions — with real-time alerts, enabling airlines to manage by exception. The 4-D cost optimization functionality — route, altitude, speed and time — are simultaneously analyzed to create an optimal and with airspace regulations compliant flight path that accounts for fuel costs, CO2 emissions and delays.

You will be involved in providing users with second level support to highly complex functional and technical systems, in a demanding environment thorough analysis, troubleshooting and diagnostics in a customer centric fast paced environment. We are looking for experienced individuals to join our Flight Plan Manager Application 2nd level team, based out of our office in Vienna.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Technical 2nd level support (front and backend)
  • Escalation of problems to shift supervisors
  • Willingness to work in 24/7 shifts
  • Work on projects, workshops and customer visits
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Relevant university degree (e.g. in IT, aviation, engineering)
  • Strong MS SQL skills
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Clustering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ownership and interest in problem solving
  • Basic knowledge of networks
  • Fluency in English
