Position Title: Vice President Strategy and Planning
As a key member of the Sabre Hospitality Solutions (SHS) Executive team, the Head of Strategy and Planning will assume a critical role in driving the overall growth and management of the Hospitality Solutions business by owning the long-term strategy for the company including merger and acquisitions along with the day to day business operations function which focuses on driving general business and sales excellence. This role will lead the below functions. 

    Strategy and M&A: This position is responsible for the design and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects that drive the day to day operation of the business and long-term growth of the company. This role will lead the strategic planning process, playing a critical role in the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives and portfolio expansion opportunities designed to advance our business to the next level. The role also will be responsible for driving overall performance of the business, working closely with the President and other department leaders to ensure the company has proper performance targets, operational controls and reporting procedures to deliver on key business objectives. Additionally, the role will be heavily involved in all major investment and partnership strategy, working with Finance and relevant cross-functional business leaders to ensure investments and partnerships are accretive, and generate or exceed expected returns. We look to this role to ultimately own key responsibilities such as financial/ business analysis, KPI measurement/reporting and building internal and external executive presentations. 
 
    Business Operations: This position will lead the business operations function which will lead a high performing, cross functional team that is focused on providing timely, relevant and accurate information to drive business objectives. Business Operations is comprised of three groups:
    Operational Support: Supports each business discipline on day to day operational analysis and performance forecasting.
    Portfolio Analysis and Process Improvement: Partners with leaders to enable and execute against business strategies including sales effectiveness.
    Data and Analytics: Consolidates disparate data sources for internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 

10-15 years of relevant experience including a successful track record of developing and implementing business strategy, financial modeling and analysis, competitive analysis, business planning and operations
•    Financially astute business leader with sound decision making, strategic acumen, process improvement and analytical problem-solving capabilities
•    Strong executive presence and previous experience relating to key customers and articulating company direction, plans and approach, both in one-on-one environments and presenting to larger groups   
•    Thought leader with the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with all levels of management and the capability to guide, educate, & influence the thinking of senior decision makers
•    Ability to distill complex information into simple and meaningful insights & conclusions (and bring everyone along to drive alignment & action)
•    Previous experience with large, geographically-dispersed, multi-functional global organizations
