Lead application systems admin is responsible for business application systems and database technical architecture. Manages application server inventory, propose system upgrades, provides sizing and performance requirements for database, application and web tier environments. Collaborates with functional, network and server/cloud operations teams for successful delivery. 

Responsibilities
•    Executes application technical architecture requirements analysis to convert end user needs into technical solutions.
•    Synchronizes systems design and technology constraints in accordance with compliance requirements.
•    Develops key capabilities and performance requirements when developing system architectures.
•    Creates technical specifications and standards for layered and multidimensional tiers.
•    Designs and implements solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and applications across the enterprise.
•    Communicates the design of the technical architecture for business systems clearly too all stakeholders.
•    Manage CMDB inventory for business applications and pro-actively propose system upgrades
•    Implements complex data modeling and advanced project development of system architecture.
•    Propose plan and roadmap for cloud migrations
•    Expert in application administration and provide guidance to the team including software installation, upgrade, patches along with POCs
•    Lead landscape architecture and provide solutions for projects that require N+1 environment without disrupting support
•    Establish policies and best practices to monitor and manage the servers, background jobs, performance of the system
•    Incorporate HA and DR as part of the design and complete monitoring as part of deployment
•    Collaborate and manage OSDB and application vulnerabilities

 

Job Requirements

 

 

•    Minimum of five years of experience as architect and lead teams by driving several application admin and Platform services initiatives
•    Minimum of five years of Application admin experience in supporting SAP systems, Hyperion, Analytics applications like BOBJ, BODS, Qlik, SAP BW, SAC and Portal systems in a globally deployed 24/7 environment 
•    Two to three years of experience with cloud migration of applications
•    Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university 
•    Solid experience driving application vulnerability issues and meeting SLAs working closely with application teams 
•    Proven experience in Application system installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and administration and architecture of applications running on Windows/UNIX OS, MSSQL and in cloud environment 
•    Proven performance with configuring Identity Management, SAP Single Sign-on, SAML, X.509 certificates, SPNEGO, and / or Kerberos with application like Datapower, ISAM 
•    Experience working with Data center exit initiatives supporting application consolidation and decom initiatives
•    Demonstrated experience with a complete project cycle from inception to completion as a technical lead for sub-projects of enterprise-level initiatives; experience with working in managed support environment 
•    Strong verbal/written communication with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority 
•    Must be able to prioritize, collaborate with high performance teams to lead/support an environment driven technical architectur    Very competitive compensation
