Job Description

 

The Talent Management Analyst role is to support the Organization and Talent Development function. This is a global role supporting a team with members in the US, Europe, and Asia. In this role, applicant should combine a strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and work under pressure. He/she should also be a reliable problem-solver with strong project management skills. 

 

Responsibilities:


This role will be accountable for analyzing talent data and noting trends within and outside of Sabre. The role will create reports, presentations and talking points for talent management activities, key processes, and events. The Analyst will gain deep understanding of the talent management elements of Workday, our core People system to administer talent pools and pipelines. Analyzing these pools and pipelines will allow the team, and Sabre more broadly, to make fact-based decisions for hiring, rotations and movement of talent based upon business needs.
The Talent Analyst will also ensure that talent data on individuals and teams is kept current within the system to enable real-time talent management and movement discussions. The role will maintain talent working documents and processes for roles that are “in flight” for talent moves and succession opportunities. The role will also track key talent actions related to development programs, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
This role will be cross trained in learning systems and processes with the current Training Coordinator to ensure coverage for both roles. Leads internal consulting at the business unit or division level in the areas of Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning and Organizational Development. Responsible for design, implementation and evaluation of Talent Management processes and tools globally. This encompasses processes across the employee lifecycle including: pre-hire assessments, leader onboarding, performance management, succession management and competency and career path development. Develops solutions in support of improving organizational effectiveness including organizational design, competency modeling/assessments, and change management and establishes criteria for evaluation of initiative effectiveness. Acts as an L and D expert as well as an internal consultant supporting the areas of leadership, management and staff development. Participates in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of new enterprise-wide leadership development programs.

Job Requirements

 

Preferred Education: Undergraduate degree in business, human resources, or data analysis/statistics. 

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources or Talent Management experience
  • Proven experience as a Talent, Training or HR Administrator. Previous experience with Workday or a similar HR system is helpful.
  • Experience in project management, data management and intermediate data analysis is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) is required; working knowledge of databases and Learning Management Systems (LMS) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability is necessary for success
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, are required
  • Strong attention to detail and unquestionable trust and discretion are core elements of this role as it deals regularly with sensitive and personal information.
