Join Our Journey

We are looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our Global Business Systems team who can lead several scrum teams helping drive key critical initiatives for Sabre.  We hire individuals that are passionate about solving problems and bringing innovative ideas to our stakeholders and team. 
In this role, the ideal candidate will be able to:
•    Lead initiatives and help drive developing solutions for Finance focused Platforms
•    Collaborate with Product Owner to handle backlogs and new requests
•    Mentor others on our Global Business Systems scrum teams
•    Identify issues and structural problems and generate actionable recommendations using agile implementation methodologies
•    Demonstrate clear understanding of stakeholder needs, goals, and objectives
•    Work across several scrum teams, initiatives and geographical time zones
•    Consistently manage stakeholder expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on stakeholder feedback
•    Document and communicate project status and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, team members and senior management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
•    Host regular sprint ceremonies to monitor day-to-day activities of the product team, ensure work is progressing as planned, and remove impediments to delivery
•    Support other initiatives based on business requirements

Job Requirements

•    3-5 years of technology focused project management experience 
•    3+ years of scrum master experience with multiple teams
•    Experienced in setting up project timeline and work breakdown structure
•    Experienced in using Agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc. 
•    Experience driving team improvements and sharing agile best practices
•    Aptitude to quickly understand systems and technical concepts in order to explain to business partners
•    Aptitude to identify requirements, blockers and deviations from plans and scope
•    Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency
•    Self-motivated and enthusiastic with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
•    Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty
•    Ability to lead productive calls, identify decisions made, and clearly state action items
•    Proven ability to proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, problems, and process gaps
•    Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
•    Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion
•    Phenomenal leadership skills and ability to inspire team members
•    Proven coaching experience and abilities
•    Proficiency with MS Office and Rally

Scrum Master Certification

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
