Job Description

Under general direction, the Senior Proposal Analyst works with many departments and levels across the organization to ensure appropriate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and unsolicited commercial proposals. For each proposal effort, the Senior Proposal Analyst reviews requests; develops the proposal plans, outlines the response template and schedules team calls/meetings; prepares questions for the potential client; and assembles and reviews the efforts. The Senior Proposal Analyst reviews proposal draft and final versions for responsiveness to the RFP, thoroughness, completeness and quality.

·         Lead proposal development teams consisting of sales/account management, sales engineers/domain specialists, subject matter experts, delivery and others, including at times individuals from other Sabre business units or partners, to ensure successful on-time completion and quality delivery. 

·         Work with network of subject matter experts to manage development and maintenance of proposal content database.

·         Identify and execute on opportunities to improve proposal quality, processes and effectiveness.


·         Manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently

·         Manage the proposal schedule, compiling and tracking inputs, to ensure deadlines are met

·         Lead Proposal Kickoff Meeting and subsequent status calls/meetings

·         Collaborate with the team to gain an appropriate understanding of the sales strategy and to ensure the response clearly conveys the proper business perspective, key messages, value proposition, and differentiators against our competition

·         Perform quality check of all proposal materials; Proofread, edit, and standardize proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension, and style

·         Ensure the proposal material being presented is consistent with the requirements of the bid  and the Sabre brand

·         Identify, assess, resolve, and/or escalate issues as needed

·         Update Proposal SharePoint Site(s); create/maintain proposal file organization and content library

·         Assist with other projects as assigned

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor degree or equivalent.


·         Advanced computer software skills; Proficiency in Microsoft products and Adobe Acrobat

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

·         Ability to collaborate and work as a team leader, with dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management and a variety of staff members

·         Ability to work independently or in a team environment and evening hours, as needed

·         Show initiative and be flexible working in a changing environment with high stress and tight deadlines

·         Strong problem solving skills a plus

·         Organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet schedules
