Job Description


This role has two focus areas:
Primary focus: Marketing operations focused on Product Marketing 
Secondary focus: Over time, potential to support, and ultimately drive, product marketing activities for select areas of the Sabre Travel Solutions product portfolio


Primary focus

As the senior marketing operations specialist, you will create and manage the operational infrastructure that enables the Product Marketing team to make plans, deliver results and measure success efficiently at scale. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse set of global stakeholders within and outside of the Marketing organization. Within Marketing, you will work day-to-day with Product Marketing Managers and members of the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT). Beyond Marketing, you will collaborate with other Sabre teams, including finance, sales operations, web, brand and procurement. Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders in a matrixed environment is critical to success.

Secondary focus

Over time, there may be opportunity for you to support – and eventually drive – product marketing activities for select areas of the product portfolio. Product Marketing increases awareness and adoption of Sabre products by educating our enterprise sales teams and our customers. To accomplish this objective, you would help liaise with product managers; develop product value propositions and campaign messaging; create customer-facing collateral; and help enable Sabre sales teams.

  • Developing, tracking, strategizing, and enabling the Product Marketing team to deliver against its operating goals (go-to-market campaigns; enterprise sales training; event planning and execution, etc.)
  • Initiating, managing, and successfully executing new, cross-functional program management processes that increase alignment across Marketing and other Sabre teams.
  • Partnering with other teams and functions to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance.
  • Potential to develop product marketing skills. 

How you will contribute

  • The senior marketing operations specialist will be responsible for ensuring key systems, tools, and processes work seamlessly and effectively. Your primary responsibilities will relate to:
  • Processes: refine existing and define new processes related to go-to-market planning, product naming and taxonomy, sales enablement, event tracking, budgeting, product-related website content and marketing training. Create and maintain related documentation to support knowledge sharing within and outside of the Marketing team. 
  • Reporting and analytics: manage monthly, quarterly and annual budget processes on behalf of the Product Marketing team; create and manage dashboards for the Product Marketing team to track KPIs. Develop insights based on reporting and dashboards to help Product Marketing team enhance planning. 
  • Technology: use existing applications, (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Salesforce, Pardot, etc.) to create and streamline reporting. Assess and implement additional marketing technologies, as needed. 
  • Product Marketing: Over time, there may also be potential to support product marketing work for select areas of the Sabre product portfolio. As these opportunities arise, you would help develop product value propositions and key messaging; customer-facing collateral; and sales enablement materials.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years Marketing Operations experience, ideally within sizeable B2B companies
  • General understanding of Product Marketing’s role and scope of responsibilities 
  • Highly proficient with: 
    • Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Sharepoint)
    • Microsoft BI 
    • Tableau and/or Microsoft BI 
    • Salesforce
    • Pardot
    • Google Analytics and Data Studio 
  • Creating emails, landing pages, and forms using WYSIWYG/HTML editor
  • Interest in expanding your Product Marketing skill set and assuming product marketing responsibilities 
  • Demonstrate a “test and learn” approach to solving problems and an ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans 
  • Experience working on budgeting activities and in close alignment with sales, sales ops and finance teams
  • Understanding of the Marketing Tech landscape, especially use of intent platforms such as Terminus, 6Sense or Demandbase
  • Able to translate data insights for business stakeholders. Solid understanding of data segmentation and targeting and the importance of data quality and consistency
  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation approaches to “Always On”, building nurture plays and developing lead and/or demand scoring models
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to independently organize and drive multiple projects with a set of global stakeholders
