Job Description


The Senior Product Manager for Sabre APIs in Sabre’s Travel Solutions organization will execute the company’s global API strategy.  They will be a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale technically and operationally. This role is responsible for bringing quality and enabling technical innovation, handling evolving / complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. This PM will draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and their experience guiding technology businesses to set and deliver on extensive goals for adoption, operational performance, feature delivery, and revenue.


They will be responsible to drive Sabre’s Digital Connect* (DC) API strategy forward; Digital Connect is Sabre’s core API portfolio for Airlines, which empowers them to Retail, Distribute & Fulfil their unique content.


This role also:


  • Provides direction to and ensure development meets market requirements
  • Manages product release schedules and prioritizes opportunities
  • Oversees the annual investment plan (including capitalized investment, maintenance, etc.)
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis
  • Liaises between Technical Sales and Product & Technology, gathering, tracking, and translating customer feedback appropriately for product, marketing, sales and technology team decision making

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent. 



  • Minimum 8 years related experience. 
  • Advanced computer software skills. 
  • Extensive knowledge of Web Services / API technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Sabre formats (used by travel agents and/or airline agents).
  • Thorough understanding of GDS industry, travel agency & airline processes and operational standards.
  • Highly articulate with ability to connect with a wide variety of audiences at all levels within and outside of Sabre.
  • An innovative thinker who has the ability to approach situations from a different yet logical perspective.
