Join our Journey

Provide domestic and international network consulting for airline clients. Make architecture and design recommendations for project solutions. Audit and cost network platforms for integration with the Sabre system. Serve as primary contact for network activity.  Serve as the engineering liaison with internal and external suppliers on behalf of the customer. Provide installation, setup, training and troubleshooting on client network solutions. Investigates, analyzes and resolves technical issues in area(s) of technical expertise, e.g. Internet, LAN/WAN, network security, client-server, data center or product specialty.  Emphasis is on technical customer services & support related to specific products.  Position will be involved in both pre- and post-sales activities.  Interacts with key technical managers and customer in order to understand the technology employed, the business complexity as related to the IT requirements, and validates the proposed technical architecture and solution.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participates with applications development and infrastructure teams to define, document and plan interfaces, data exchanges, and dependencies.
  • Plans, designs and interfaces directly with Customers to achieve desired results
  • Coordinates the execution of the resolution process to solve complex infrastructure problems.
  • Works with applications development and infrastructure teams in developing technical infrastructure requirements and solutions.
  • Performs analysis and provides technical guidance to resolve problems.
  • Assists in preparing customer presentations.
  • Domestic & International travel (15%-30%)
  • Extensive customer interfacing. 

Job Requirements

  • Education:  Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience:  Minimum 8 years hands on
  • Advanced computer software skills
  • Extensive technical knowledge of WAN/LAN protocols and architectures
  • Troubleshooting tools, e.g. Sniffer, Ethereal, Observer, Ping, Telnet, etc…
  • Experience with SolarWinds, Stat Seeker or other monitoring systems preferred
  • Advanced IP Subnetting knowledge
  • Hands on VPN’s and Firewalls
  • Experience working with multiple vendors on an international network
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • In depth hands on experience with Juniper Routers (Juniper certification JNCP)
  • Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems (Certified MCP)
  • Must be able to perform network installations and provide end user technical training.
  • Preferred - Bilingual – Reading & Writing - Spanish
