Job Description



As a key member of the Sabre Hospitality Solutions (SHS) product management portfolio integration team, you will play a critical role in driving performance across the product portfolio.  The portfolio integration team…

•    Leads the annual product strategy review process across the product portfolio, working closely with product managers and other stakeholders
•    Delivers robust analysis on market size, growth, and trends by segment/geography as well as customer and competitor insights to inform strategy decisions
•    Provides insight into financial drivers of performance as well as supports investment analysis and pricing strategy
•    Drives cross-platform process improvement and standardization efforts
•    Manages the prioritization and planning processes to support feature development

Members of this team routinely work on cross-functional topics and interact with senior leaders across the SHS organization.  Additionally, the direct manager and one level up leader (VP of Product Management) of this team have top tier consulting experience and highly prioritize coaching/development.   

Work closely with the Sr. Director of Portfolio Integration, VP of Product Management, and senior stakeholder across the organization to drive our product growth strategy and operating model redesign.
This role will be instrumental in delivering the following:

•    Growth strategy transformation – HS is embarking on an exciting growth strategy transformation that will shape the hospitality ecosystem.  This role will be pivotal in helping drive the problem solving and execution to convert that vision from aspiration to reality
•    Annual strategic planning process - the process of setting SHS product strategy plans follows a recipe of assessing past performance, analyzing the market to identify potential strategic options, evaluating those options, and then building decisions into the product roadmap.  This role will be critical in establishing this annual process and will lead or materially contribute to customer analysis, market analysis, investment analysis, and product roadmap creation as well as the supporting meetings/workshops (e.g. product steering committee meetings)
•    Operating model redesign – Work across products and functions to standardize processes that are key to driving product health and performance
•    Financial analysis / pricing - Sound strategy decisions are rooted in sound financial analysis.  This role will investigate the true financial drivers of product performance as well as support our efforts to redesign our pricing strategy 
•    Value chain / market analysis - Integrate key operational and financial product performance data with external data sources (research, competitor analysis, macro social and economic trends, etc.) to evaluate overall portfolio performance and recommend strategic and tactical actions.  Partner with the business operations team to create a comprehensive data repository that enables detailed market analysis across various dimensions such as segment, geography, etc.

Job Requirements


Must Have Skills:

  • 2+ years of mgmt. consulting experience with McKinsey, Bain, or BCG
  • Experience across a broad range of business and functional topics including but not limited to: Enterprise transformations, organizational effectiveness, portfolio & business unit strategy, investment analysis, pricing strategy
  • Thought leader able to independently lead their work, think strategically, and communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Ability to take complex, unstructured problems and quickly apply structure to surface meaningful insights and create outputs that drive alignment and action
  • Experience working with large, globally dispersed, multi-functional organizations
