Job Description

The Senior Finance Analyst – Lodging Ground and Sea (LGS) is focused on driving clear and accurate reporting/forecasting and data based insights to help the LGS team achieve its MYO targets and influence supplier pricing strategies. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Financial reporting and forecasting
    • Closely partner with an international team of financial analyst to get local insights for monthly variances by segment
    • Responsible for detailed analysis of actual and forecasted performance and root cause of any variances. Providing granular reporting at a segment level.
    • Manage annual multi-year planning process, closely collaborating with LGS LOB leaders
    • Coordinate closely with accounting/billing department to ensure financials are accurately reported.
    • Own the entire P&L from bookings to revenue to expenses for this area of the business
    • Support the partners organization, becoming a trusted partner able to provide strategic insights and direction
  • Financial analysis
    • Supports ad hoc requests from the LGS SVP and its Directors
  • Strategic Projects
    • Supports the business from a finance perspective on any strategic initiative

  • Demonstrated advanced word processing, spreadsheet, and database application skills.
  • Results-oriented to ensure deliverables are submitted in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  • The desire and tenacity to grow within the organization.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance 
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable Finance experience
  • SAP Experience 
  • High Excel modelling skills
  • Experience working with large sets of data and DBs
