Job Description

The Senior Application Support Analyst will be a key member of the Global Business Systems organization with responsibility for supporting the billing mediation platform. In addition to establishing and maintaining good working relationships internally, this position will participate in various cross-functional organizational initiatives. 

Good airline GDS experience as well as airline business knowledge is needed

Ability to run SQL queries and scripts

•    Under general direction, analyzes, programs and implements internally developed software applications or packaged solutions including SAP, Digital Route, KDM and other software solutions.

•    Demonstrate creative, strategic thinking and problem solving; able to exercise independent judgment in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology
•    Has the ability to coordinate and communicate cross-functionally with both business and technical partners. 
•    Work with business daily to work on issues.
•    Translates business requirements into solution designs including technical specifications and recommended process changes.
•    Responsible for data configurations, testing activities and aspects of reporting.
•    Identify/troubleshoot application and/or code-related issues 
•    Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills with technical and non-technical clients 
•    Perform code reviews to ensure quality standards.
•    Must have experience in and contribute to all phases of software development life cycle.
•    Support post implementation activities by debugging, fixing, and participating in maintenance releases as identified in the project plan
•    Experienced in SAP FIORI, BW, HANA DB. Experienced in writing complex SQL queries.
•    May code individual modules and complex functions. 
•    Ensures existing software applications can be integrated into software solutions.
•    Possesses an understanding of system architecture and makes recommendations that facilitate stability.
•    Works under minimal supervision on complex projects and may assist less experienced peers.
•    Wide latitude for independent judgment. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency.


Job Requirements

EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.  


EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience. Excellent computer software skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
