Our Global Business System Team is looking for a Salesforce CPQ Developer to manage our Salesforce CPQ platform and be a strategic partner in using this system across the business. You will guide the process for design, test, build and implementation of Salesforce CPQ. Additionally, it will be your chance to help guide the business in process enhancement and work on future implementation needs. We want someone passionate about using Salesforce to increase success and value across the business. Accountable for
•    Design and develop secure, scalable technical solutions on the Salesforce and CPQ platforms.
•    Create and collaborate on the solution and technical design artifacts, and present and participate in cross-functional review sessions.
•    Communicate technical solutions and design tradeoffs to Business Applications team members as well as business stakeholders.
•    Display expertise in Salesforce and CPQ functionality and features, through all interactions on Business Applications projects.
•    Provide technical support for new projects, enhancements, and bug fixes related to solutions being delivered on the Salesforce & CPQ platform.
•    Work with Business system analysts to design & implement end-to-end automation.
•    Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies and critical metrics.
•    Evaluate existing code and develop plans to reduce technical debt over time and establish a technology roadmap with system architects.
•    Maintain and optimize full lifecycle software development using standard configuration, Apex, VisualForce, LWC, APIs, CPQ, and Force.com applications.
•    Coordinate and collaborate with other developers and team members to obtain requirements, develop solution design, manage UATs, and post-go-live activities.
•    Establish best practices and standards for well-designed, testable, efficient code with high quality.
•    Mentor, develop, and train Junior developers.
•    Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.


 

Job Requirements

 

 

•    A minimum of a business or technology related college or university degree.  
•    Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, Salesforce CPQ, and Sales Cloud certified. 5+ years of experience in a Project Lead, Solution Architect, or Lead Business Analyst role. 5+ years of experience as an Administrator or Developer in Salesforce Sales, Service, or Marketing Clouds. 3+ years in Salesforce Quote to Cash/Salesforce CPQ, preferably in an Administrator, Consultant, or Sales Ops user role. 3+ years of experience in user acceptance test planning and execution
•    Proven ability to manage projects, lead discovery and build cycles, and work in a collaborative team environment
•    Strong oral, written and presentation skills
•    Demonstrate problem solving and troubleshooting skills in a rapidly changing environment
•    Demonstrate industry or domain expertise
