Job Description

Under general supervision, collects, evaluates and analyzes moderately complex sales data and economic conditions to measure the attainment of sales objectives. Responsible for moderate to complex sales and service reporting. Provides improvements to workflow management to drive efficiencies in the sales and service organizations.  Provides moderate to complex analytical support to sales and service organizations

 

Key functions of the ideal candidate include:

  • Operationalize the SHS global strategy within the sales and delivery areas by assisting in cross-functional opportunities to grow business and improve execution from pipeline to billing
  • Help develop cross- initiatives which expand the business such as targeted sales focus and better opportunity identification
  • Assist in business intelligence solutions to report on key metrics and measurements across functional areas to detail the health of the SHS business at high level with drill down capabilities
  • High level of team collaboration with sales, finance, strategy, product, delivery, technology and marketing

Candidate will help scale the business profitability by combining financial focus, sales acceleration, technical automation/support, and sophisticated tracking/reporting with most current information & data available. 

The role will focus on supporting SHS’ strategic approach to scaling the business by contributing to:

  • Understanding macro view of trends of hospitality and how they affect our business
  • Utilizing internal/external data to propose frameworks to address challenges and opportunities
  • Performing ad hoc analyses and research assignments

Job Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Pursuing a BA in analytical or engineering discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate in writing and/or person with all organizational levels
  • Highly motivated team player with ability to work with ambiguity and complex projects
  • Innovative-thinker able to connect disparate ideas for thought-leading break-throughs
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Pivot tables
  • Preferred: 2+ years experience with track record of developing and implementing business strategy, financial modeling, business planning, and strategic program/product management
  • Working knowledge of SAP, SynXis CR/PM for data, Salesforce.com is a plus
