Job Description

 

This role will be looked at to execute the Sabre Hospitality strategy and vision for the entire SHS product portfolio, including Central Reservations, distribution solutions, and acquisition marketing media services, to all prospective customers within the region.  Focused on driving sales growth in a specific region via a rigorous sales process that includes outbound prospecting, inbound marketing and funnel management.  Needs to be able to drive value-based, consultative interactions with prospective customers with the goal of identifying areas of challenge and the associated opportunity for solutions. Identifies and drives new customers to Sabre Hospitality solutions and negotiates new agreements to meet the customer’s needs as well as the company’s financial requirements. Must remain updated on industry, market and competitive trends.  Able to develop and manage relationships at the senior executive level.

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Primary responsibility is for the direct sale of SHS products or services, and responsible for finding and generating new customers.
  • Effectively represent all products and services Sabre Hospitality has to offer and think outside the box to help clients find the right solutions for their business problems.
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of Salesforce and the Microsoft Office suite of products. Must be a fast learner on SaaS-based technology platforms and hospitality software systems in use in major independent hotels.
  • Actively prospects, makes contact with potential customers, and provides business and administrative product information and/or delivers product demonstrations to customers.
  • Provides business and technical guidance to other levels of Sales Representatives.
  • Represents the company to the customer, and the customer to the company, in sales-related matters; understanding of customer's business and product requirements is necessary. This position is fully knowledgeable about company products.
  • Establishes target list and short-range strategies to attain key business plan objectives of new sales.
  • Develops quotes and negotiates pricing options and explains contractual obligations to potential customers.
  • Closes sales; goal is to adhere to profitability and growth objectives.
  • Develops strategic business/sales plans, maintains sales records in our sales Customer Relationship Management tool.
  • Truly understand client’s needs and consults with them on the most effective solutions from Sabre Hospitality
  • Negotiate, develop, interpret and execute on client contract.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry related sales experience required; Technology sales experience preferred
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Can create convincing proposals, documentation and presentations
  • Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills delivering complex solutions in an easy to understand manner
  • Ability to identify, communicate, and connect with key decision makers
  • Ability to lead and direct multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
  • Attend industry functions and lead in person meetings with clients; travel approximately 50%
  • Strong interpersonal skills:  Ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
