Job Description

Product Management & Analytics Intern – Lodging, Ground & Sea

The Intern for Product Management & Analytics will be instrumental in Sabre’s lodging distribution transformation.  The individual will play an active role in defining processes and instituting practices to bring rigor to the Product Management discipline.  Using analytics, they will develop reporting to measure our success.

In addition, they will partner with seasoned Product Managers to learn first-hand what it takes to create, oversee and manage a product from inception to sunset.  They will learn the importance of collaboration between internal stakeholders including Sales, Technology, Marketing and Line of Business owners.

This will be a hands-on position to broaden your knowledge of Product Management and to but your analytical skills to use.

High level responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Works closely with Product Management to advance the discipline and practices of the organization through defining processes and reporting to drive and measure success.
  • Works with Product Marketing, Supplier Commerce and Sales to conduct research on hospitality and leisure markets, monitor competitive activity and identify/anticipate customer needs.
  • Works with colleagues in marketing, technology and corporate development to assess build vs. buy opportunities.

 

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters program - in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or Technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex subject matter; comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong analytical and business planning skills; ability to link strategy and investments to company performance.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of how to use BI tools (Clickthrough / Tableau) and/or Programming tools (SQL, Python) would be a plus.
  • Exhibits a professional presence required to command respect both internally and externally.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character.
  • Be a thought leader and representative for Sabre.

  • Inherent curiosity, and a passionate for solving challenges while utilizing a data driven approach.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of how to use BI tools (Clickthrough / Tableau) and/or Programming tools (SQL, Python) would be a plus.
  • Must be enrolled in school for a Bachelors degree or Masters degree
