Job Description

The Role

 

As a key member of the crew management (CM) product team you will report to head of crew product. This high performing team is designed to cultivate the future leaders of our business. Your energy, drive, innovation, and problem-solving ability will enable driving significant impact in our crew business that supports airlines around the world with over 250,000 flight crews counting on us every day.

 

  • Work closely with the head of CM to ensure the team achieves its product ambitions and manages the annual investment plan
  • Partner with technology, delivery, and customer care to ensure airline operations are driving the business toward its multi-year outlook
  • Point of contact with external customers validating requirements, requesting modifications or new features
  • Evaluates initiatives against the organization’s strategic priorities, ensuring the relentless pursuit of selected initiatives
  • Manage development priorities, delivery and resource capacity, write business requirements, support user stories, and understand solution alternatives
  • Oversee product/projects/programs involving cross-functional teams, tracking product adoption and performance

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • 5+ yrs industry related experience in CM OR operations research with a focus on optimization
  • Experience with large, geographically dispersed, multi-functional global organizations
  • Ability to distill complex information into simple and meaningful insights & conclusions
  • Prior stream lead experience in a formal or informal capacity
  • Experience across a broad range of business and functional topics such as: organizational effectiveness, portfolio and business unit/functional strategy, evaluation of business cases, investment opportunities
  • Thought leader with the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively
  • Capability to guide, educate, & influence the thinking of senior decision makers
  • Working knowledge of phases of the product life cycle, including engineering specifications, customer requirements gathering, software design and development, testing - including unit, functional, systems and integration, implementation/delivery
