Job Description

Consultative sales person, with deep travel agency business and workflow knowledge, able to understand the technical and operational challenges associated with the industry, as well as to assess opportunities to improve overall business performance.

SPS Sales Engineers can be either Hunters, focusing on driving new sales for the products within the SPS scope or Farmers, focusing on driving revenue by getting new customers to run-rate or by executing further opportunities on customers already live on SPS products.

All SPS Sales Engineer are expected to undertake the necessary activities to build internal and external awareness and to cascade knowledge across the organization about SPS products.

All SPS Sales Engineer share learning from previous customer engagements as well as captured market needs with the broader Sabre organization, and work in collaboration with the Product and Marketing organizations to enhance the relevance of the products within the SPS scope.

SPS portfolio is currently focused on agency and supplier payments but may be expanded in future to adjacent strategic opportunities for Sabre such as Commissions and Lodging.

  • Number of new customer sales per quarter
  • Profitability of crafted SPS deals
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Overall SPS revenue

Customer Business Landsace Assesment

  • Understands and documents the customers current state with focus on the business pain points (technical, operational and financial)
  • Creates a solution based on the Sabre/Partner offering which can address the agencies pain objectives
  • Demonstrates/Quantifies the value of the solution
  • Builds and maintains a relationship as a trusted advisor with key customers within region / territory

IT Assesment & Sales Pitch

  • Leads technical and operational aspects of pre-sales engagements

  • Performs prospect’s technical/operational needs evaluation
  • Constructs a Solution set composed of Sabre and technology partner products/services
  • Delivers a compelling sales pitch to persuade the prospect that the proposed Sabre solution set is the optimal for prospect to achieve their business objectives
Job Requirements

Technology and Partner Devleopment

  • Proactively identifies and builds working relationship with technology & banking partners
  • Actively sustains a Technology Partner Network, to complement Sabre’s product set

Customer onboarding and migration

  • Supports the customer onboarding and migration process in collaboration with the SPS tech sales
  • Work in collaboration with the SPS tech sales to get the customer to run-rate following onboarding
  • Facilitate the resolution of ad-hoc technical queries when customer brings up known technical issues in parallel to the SPS tech sales

Product Soloutions Feedback

  • Provides input to product owners on customer/marketplace needs for solution roadmap development based on customer interaction and competitive solution analysis.

Requirements

8+ years of sales experience in the payments space with consistent track record

Deep knowledge of B2B and C2B travel payment ecosystem

Ability to handle a multi-regional sales pipeline with a broad range of simultaneous opportunities

Precise understanding of agency front and back-office workflows/challenges

Excellent customer presentation & customer service skills

Proficient English communication (other languages : Spanish, Portuguese, German, Russia a plus)

Travel : up to 25% - possibility to be home based
