Job Description

This person will complete analysis that helps determine our strategic direction with regard to evolution of the GDS commercial model on a standalone basis and in combination with Sabre products.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Evolve the GDS pricing models for both airlines and agencies (e.g. revenue share model, opt in/private channel, etc.)
  • Coordinate with the Biz Ops and Billing Teams to define requirements and implement new models
  • Develop a better understanding of our competitors, including the evolution of their commercial strategy and contract expiration dates with key airlines
  • Analyze the second order impacts of various renewal/commercial scenarios
  • Evaluates and manages highly complex strategic business opportunities, initiatives, recommends mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures.
  • Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs.
  • Provides leadership in the planning, designing and implementing of strategic business objectives.
  • Defines vision, strategies and tactics.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years related experience. Advanced computer software skills. Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
