GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include selling Sabre GDS products and services, maintaining and expanding customer relationships, and meeting or exceeding booking goals for customers in your defined territory. This person will be required to meet annual revenue targets, while focusing on incentive management; define customer solutions and develop compelling value propositions. This role will be responsible for structuring, negotiating and closing contracts, retaining and expanding business with existing accounts and helping secure new accounts. This individual will manage customer expectations and ensure customer service standards are met; develop and cultivate relationships with decision makers; and create strategic account plans.This person will establish positive relationships with customers, peers, and other constituents to solidify renewal opportunities, establishing themselves as a subject matter expert in GDS sales.

 

Responsible for interfacing with customers prior to and/or after sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. While operating with broad latitude for decisions and actions, this position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. This role is recognized as an expert by internal and external peers. Provides account management services to new clients during campaign planning and implementation. Monitors campaign performance and provides the client with recommendations for optimization. Establishes positive relationship and results in order to solidify renewal opportunities. This position will serve in a variety of roles such as team, advisor or project manager.

 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Very strong presentation skills; Strong knowledge of Sabre TN products and services is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects.
