Sabre Travel Network (TN) is the world’s leading provider of high-performance travel solutions. This an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Travel Network (TN) Reservations team. Reservations is at the heart of a travel booking.  This team enables and faciliates all other aspects of the travel booking experience!

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

  • Under general direction, responsible for the solution definition and delivery for (new) products based upon the strategy and business needs as defined by our Product Management team.  Provides direction to and ensures development meets market requirements; manages product release schedule and prioritizes opportunities and enhancements.  Manages the annual investment plan (including capitalized investment, maintenance, etc.).
  • Acts as the subject matter expert on a consulting basis on multiple projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees product Lifecycle
  • Owns and communicates Product Roadmap
  • Owns and prioritizes Product and Project Backlog
  • Champions project requirements to ensure success
  • Oversees project development lifecycle (PDLC) through Agile iterations
  • Delivers new or enhanced products based on strategy, business needs, as defined by product marketing
  • Point of Contact & Subject matter expert on market needs for development
  • Works with Marketing team to facilitate go to market (GTM) activities
  • Designs products from an “API first” view

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Successful candidate would have one or more of the following characteristics: travel industry knowledge, web services development, and or strong product management in a B2B environment

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years related product management, web services and/or travel industry software experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Experience with vetting/creating functional requirement documents for business needs
  • Experience delivering project/product demos
  • Experience working with development organizations
  • Experience with agile or waterfall development methodology
  • Travel industry experience is a plus, but not required
