Job Description:

Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, resolves employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Operates in a global environment working with HR counterparts across the globe to develop and drive company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., total rewards, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational change). Viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent and member of the line management staff.  Partners with the business leaders to determine strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives. Provides strategic and operational HR consultation and support to executive and senior management. Develops and delivers customized solutions for critical business needs such as succession planning, leadership development, employee development, culture change efforts. Consults with business leaders regarding key HR information such as metrics and summaries of HR activities. Acts as liaison between business and corporate HR on key initiatives such as pay and incentive programs, retention strategies, etc.

Key skills and abilities include business acumen, strategic and cultural agility, coaching, influencing, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, comfort with ambiguity, and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • HR Partner will support Product Development in the Travel Network and Hospitality Solutions business groups.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working at all levels of the organization including executive leaders
  • Customizes and delivers specific Business Unit HR initiatives such as coaching senior leaders on strategy, driving performance, employee development and succession management
  • Leads HR projects for the organization
  • Uses data to derive insight, enabling smart decisions 
  • Builds PowerPoint decks and Excel workbooks to support business initiatives and people processes
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to drive functional and business strategies
  • Coordinates development programs, performance review and incentive plan processes
  • Seeks ways to continuously improve with each program deployment
  • Supports talent acquisition initiatives and needs assessments
  • Performs other support functions as needed

 

Job Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years related experience
  • History of supporting a technology organization including experience with workforce management and resource planning
  • Exposure to HR technical processes and organizational design
  • Good project management, organizational planning, and time management skills
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to manage change within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience in collaborating with and supporting global teams is highly desired
  • Advanced computer software skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple demands simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable supporting all levels of the organization including executive leaders 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
