Job Description

Position Responsibilities:


Support financial planning, reporting & analysis with the execution of the following key activities:  

  • Own reporting for Infrastructure and Operations including close, forecast, plan, & variance analysis each month specifically for cost of the investments.
  • Own reporting to support key initiatives and ad hoc business events impacting the Technology, such as cost initiatives and competitive elements to name a few examples.
  • Consolidate plan, MYO, KPIs and other reporting requirements and ad hoc requests.
  • Partner with Technology organization in gathering data and analyzing key results
  • Partner cross functionally with colleagues in TS, Treasury, Corporate Finance and Accounting.
  • Support annual planning and multi-year outlook process, evaluating business performance and business implications.

  • Ability to apply “big picture” thinking to problem solving and priority management.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully apply forecasting techniques to evaluate business goals .
  • Curiosity to search and find explanations for financial results to offer the story behind the numbers.
  • Articulates views in a clear and concise manner, including financial concepts to non-financial colleagues.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex and detailed data into meaningful insights.
  • Uses narratives, like stories and analogies, to communicate messages.
  • Ability to visually display data in organized and effective manner.
  • Anticipates questions and prepares appropriate responses or answers.
  • Presents compelling arguments to support positions.
  • Constructively challenges business partner assumptions and goals.
  • Demonstrated advanced Microsoft applications, SAP and Hyperion Essbase a plus.
  • Results-oriented to ensure deliverables are submitted in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion.
  • Project management experience a plus
  • The desire and tenacity to grow within the organization.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other quantitative fields (MBA preferred).
  • Strong Excel technical skills
  • 7+ years of applicable analytical experience
  • Technology or software sector experience (preferred).
  • Financial planning & analysis experience a plus
