Job Description

As the Principal Business and Financial Analyst, you will be the key business partner with Airline Solutions Product Marketing and Sabre Corporate Finance focusing on:


  • Operational Planning:
    • Work alongside the lines of business and Sabre corporate finance teams to compile and analyze the consolidated budgets, forecasts and multiyear outlooks  
    • Fully understand the product portfolio to contribute to the growth strategy of the line of business
    • Drive accountability for financial business results to budget, forecast and the investment plan
    • Partner with the lines of business and functional teams to execute on resource management and workforce planning
  • Analysis:
    • Partner with senior leaders to drive financial health of the product lines of business, which could include product P&L analysis, resource management, cost containment or evaluation of opportunities for future growth, including analysis of new product lines and M&A opportunities
    • Develop business case models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, investment prioritization, product plans and the company's ongoing business operations
    • Analyze current and past trends and key performance indicators including work force utilization and metrics that matter, the P&L and capital expenditures
    • Have a nose for the dollar - understand where to find pockets of operational value and have the ability to drive changes necessary to create such value
    • Prepare Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
  • Communication and Partnering:
    • As a decision support partner, actively influence decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business utilizing core business skills such as influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills
    • Prepare presentations for senior management team connecting the financials to the voice of the line of business
    • Interpret data, order and assess its value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way
    • Challenge assumptions in the business and stand behind your opinions
    • Have the composure and confidence along with being comfortable presenting to the Executive suite

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent. Master's degree preferred
  • At least eight years related experience with several years’ experience in a SaaS business model
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the highest standards of accuracy and precision
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work across an organization, developing key relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to tell a story with the numbers
  • Experience directing and collaborating with analytic and reporting teams
  • Excellent time management skills
