Job Description


As a key member of the Travel Solutions (TS) Product team, you will report to the Senior Director of Portfolio, Planning and Operations. This organization is responsible for business operations, portfolio planning & analysis and executive level reporting. As a Manager - Strategy & Business Operations, you will provide critical support, insight, and guidance to the executive Product team. Your energy, drive, problem solving and ability to synthesize key insights will enable TS to continue to deliver innovative products to the travel industry.


Support of Product Portfolio Leader: 
•    Right hand to leader, providing team with guidance as proxy
•    Assists in establishing business operations objectives
•    Advises on ways to improve daily management of the business
•    Responsible for internal comms, helping with external comms
•    Oversee large, cross-functional projects or initiatives including tracking, reporting and prioritization
•    Identify best practices, creating processes to streamline operations


Cross-Product Business Operations: 
•    Assist with any Product-level Business Operations Requirements as needed, including SOR, QBR, QIS, BOD and Earnings
•    Lead and collaborate on special projects


Strategic Planning:
•    Collaborate with finance, HR, and segment to define, measure, track and develop action plans for operational and strategic KPIs
•    Guide Product Leadership in creating & updating dashboards
•    Provide business unit support for FP&A 
•    Manage hiring requests
•    Consistent liaison with Portfolio Management team


Meeting & Event Preparation:
•    Ensure the leader is prepared and as productive 
•    Manage agendas, documents, action items
•    Own cadence of Product leadership team and run staff meetings
•    Identify appropriate inspection topics and mechanisms 
•    Ensure a strong, candid team dynamic by creating an optimal environment for productive, professional dialogue
•    Coordinate inputs for executive level meetings (QBR, SOR, etc), own timelines and deliverables

Job Requirements


•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
•    Master's degree preferred


•    10+ years related experience
•    Excellent knowledge of Excel (v look ups and pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Word
•    Results driven with a stellar work ethic
•    Analytical, ability to see patterns, fast thinker and solid decision maker
•    Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead and get work done through others
•    Clever juggler of multiple, critical priorities, all the while spotting areas to improve efficiency and effectiveness
•    Remains calm under pressure
•    Master influencer with cultural depth and awareness
•    Discretion handling sensitive matters
•    Innate capability to work down to details given general guidance on key business objectives and technical goals and constraints.
•    Confident managing up
