Job Description

Sabre is looking for a Principal, Consultant Architect, reporting to the VP of Service Offering. This role is a key partner of four, with global coverage. The team is proficient at analyzing issues and obstacles to determine root cause(s), weighing options, choosing appropriate courses of action, and drafting and revising solutions based on experience and results from Proofs of Concept.

 

Role and Responsibilities  

• Leads solutioning engagements with customers (airlines/ agencies). Partnering with key stakeholders, using Sabre’s products & services, creates solutions to solve customers’ business & technical problems

• Build business use cases for customers using his/ her consulting experience (e.g., Airline wants to digitize re-accommodation integrating with current non-Sabre systems)

• Partner with Sales/ Service Executives/ Product & Sales Engineers to craft solutions and be able to articulate the KPIs to measure them

• Collect data around market needs and re-use solutions where appropriate, over time

• Drive solutioning workshops with customers and Sabre experts as necessary with the objective of finding the most optimal solution for a business problem

• Keep abreast of changing product (enhancement + roadmaps), technology and service offerings

• Work closely with Service Offering managers to produce necessary collaterals, initiate demand generation for solution work

• Engage customers along with the Sales and Service Executives as needed

• Guide & Support other teams to prepare RFI, RFQ or RFP request as needed

 

 

A successful candidate will have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Technology/ Engineering is highly desired, Masters preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in technology or product consulting/ implementation, with at least 5+ years in solution architecture. Ideally would have led team
  • Experience in working with technical, product & Enterprise B2B software (SaaS/Cloud/CRM) preferred
  • Deep technical & analytical thinking capability along with organizational skills are required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & ability to handle multiple projects presenting to senior executives
  • Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others team members in sensitive situations without damage to the relationships
  • Proven track record of leadership and high performance.
  • Exposure to the travel domain from a technology standpoint
  • Ability to travel
