Job Description

Sabre Airline Solutions is the leader in airline decision-support applications, reservations and departure-control systems, and consulting services. Sabre Airline Solutions uses its industry experience and breadth of software products to provide airlines with the tools to optimize operations and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities include:

  • Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming
  • Conduct logical analysis of moderate to very complex management problems and information systems and formulates mathematical models for resolution of real world problems
  • Prepare mathematical models in forms of equations that relate constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives and their numerical parameters.
  • Gather, relate and identify data with variables in models by applying personal judgment and mathematical tests
  • Prepare written technical reports to management indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success when there is no single resolution

Job Requirements

Education/Degrees: MS/PhD in (or candidate for) one of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Transportation Science, Statistics and Operations Research

Technical Skills: Linear and non-linear programming, combinatorial optimization, mathematical modeling, forecasting, working knowledge of software development using C, C++, Java under Windows/Unix preferred

Valued Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work individually and on a team. Ability to work multiple projects as necessary.
