Job Description

Microsoft 365 Principal Solution Architect

Investigates, analyzes and develops the solutions related to end user computing platforms. e.g. all components Office 365 services, automation, workflows, desktop virtualization, desktop Infrastructure management (AD, SCCM, AV etc.), Windows 10, mobile platforms, iOS and Linux desktop environments. Develops or assists in development of rapid prototyping demonstrations/examples of proposed solution. Position may be involved in both pre and post implementation activities. Interacts with key technical managers and experts from the business units in order to understand the technology employed, the business complexity as related to the IT requirements and validates proposed technical architecture and solution. Works under the direction of a senior leadership and reports to the director of architecture and engineering. Participates with automation development and infrastructure teams to define, document and plan interfaces, data exchanges and dependencies. Coordinates execution of the resolution process to solve any client OS problems as a product owner and Tier III support. Works with applications development and infrastructure teams in developing technical infrastructure requirements and solutions. Performs analysis and provides technical guidance to resolve problems. Assists in preparing presentations. Works closely with Microsoft, Google, HP, and Dell to utilize best practices.

Job Requirements


•    Bachelor’s Degree in information systems technologies


  •     Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  •     Minimum 10 years of experience
  •     Fluent or highly experienced with 
  •     Microsoft workstation and server environments
  •     Office 365
  •     Microsoft modern management tools
  •     Management and monitoring scripts
  •     Detailed documentation and training guides for tier 1 and 2 support groups
  •     Owns the planning, technical solution design, and implements production pilot migration of up to 11,000 devices to Windows 10/11 Enterprise
  •     Knowledge of MSI, software packaging is a plus but not required 
  •     Develops and implements “Windows 10/11 standard users – non admin design best practices” for ensuring continued availability and security of the infrastructure 
  •     Troubleshoots to detect and solve technical problems
  •     Knowledge of Mac OS and Linux desktop platform is a plus for design, build, management and maintenance.
