Job Description

 

In May 2019, Sabre kicked off a transformational project to modernize global billing and agency payment processing.  Sabre has partnered with SAP to implement the BRIM tool as part of this project.  A key area of focus is the master data integration and governance across the organization.  The master data analyst role is critical to the success of this project and ongoing governance.  Sabre is seeking a dynamic individual to be a part of the master data requirements gathering, cleansing, and change management for this project.  This individual will be working across multiple teams and entities and will have a unique opportunity to standardize the organizational data structure. 

 

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with cross functional business teams (marketing/sales, engineering, product development, IT, etc.) to establish governance policies and procedures for data management.
  • Implement master data policies and guidelines across the organization
  • Work with data security, compliance, and IT to protect key data elements and restrict read/update access to only those roles which require it.
  • Establish and manage process for preventing and reporting duplicate customer and product records.
  • Perform data clean ups as required.
  • Work with data governance analysts to identify data problems and present issues to the data governance board for resolution.
  • Identify automation opportunities and root cause issues of data problems to prevent and resolve.
  • Assist in delivery of enterprise data model.
  • Adhere to compliance with data security and privacy mandates.
  • Ensure consistency and compatibility with all other system technology components.
  • Provide shared training methods and tools and develop audit processes and metrics.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 3+ years equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in data management and analysis.
  • 1+ years' focused experience on Master Data Management solutions.
  • Demonstrated Operational Excellence.
  • SAP Experience preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Excellent business acumen and strong analytic skills.
  • Extreme savviness in Excel.  (pivot tables, v look ups; macros or Access experience a plus.)
  • Project management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Amazing internal and external customer service.
