Job Description

Lead Systems Development Qliksense (Reporting and Analytics)
This position is for a Team Lead System Development with focus on BI and reporting tools of Sabre in support of our Stability initiative.  As a member of this team you will be responsible for data modeling and designing architecture for building dashboard views in Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView/QlikSense or Performance Analytics etc. The position requires experience in creating back end connections to retrieve data from data sources such as ServiceNow, Archer, SQL Database, SharePoint, Rally etc. Individuals in this position should also be proficient in Excel and meet with various levels of leaders to gather reporting requirements with attention to details to provide recommendation to data visualization and data capture. 

Position Summary: 
•    Develop and maintain Dashboard views in QlikSense/QlikView and Performance Analytics

  • Capture information required to enable effective analysis and reporting
  • Document and keep up to date all metrics definition and calculations behind the metrics definition for leadership and self-paced training
  • Implement training classes for all levels at Sabre (Developers to Executives and customers when needed)
  • Design and implement the data modeling and data architecture
  • A confident leader with the ability to gain support of peers and counterparts by collaborating and being solution focused. Requires minimal supervision and direction who is self-motivated, a problem solver and can breakdown complex problems.
  • Effectively partners with process owners and stakeholders to provide data visualization recommendations
  • Able to produce and articulate dashboard view and reports to senior leaders (presentations, roadmaps, training, proposals, etc.)
  • Participate in all Scrum activities (daily, backlog refinement, demonstrations, etc.)
  • Uses data to identify gaps, overlaps and inefficiencies and provides recommendation
  • Data Validation across various reporting tools to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reviewing opportunities for process enhancements

Job Requirements

3-5 year’s IT reporting development experience that includes:

  • Dashboard Development and maintenance
  • REST Endpoints, APIs (including working knowledge of extracting data from various REST API endpoints)
  • Some experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON and ability to create and modify QlikSense extensions
  • SQL skills (3 years minimum)
  • Extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources into Qlik Sense applications
  • Stakeholder interaction to capture data requirements
  • Presentation development in Microsoft tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint etc.)
  • User experience - visualization development
  • Team player with all levels and types of personalities
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem solving and understanding of statistics and proficiency in mathematical analyses
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication
     

    Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or equivalent
