Job Description

 

Sabre is seeking  a Sr. Principal Personal Technologist  who will oversee the organizations IT Department, effectively leading, managing & analyzing internal IT resources, architecture and engineering of modern workplace services, outside vendors and IT operations. Identifies, plans, and implements new or enhanced personal technology services to meet the company’s business requirements in an efficient and economical manner.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

•    Enhancing IT Department through evaluation of systems, applications, staff, etc.
•    Serve as a modern workplace services leader managing over 11,000 end points and users globally.
•    Experience with implementation including gathering business requirements, scope, budget, evaluating vendors & consultants, integrations, and timeline management.
•    Works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization related to collaboration, identity, security and other personal technology services.
•    Responsible for the creation and updating of operational policies, strategies, and procedures that ensure smooth operations.
•    Provides input to and drives IT strategic roadmap and annual budget.
•    Overseeing outside vendors including Microsoft and Google.
•    Provide effective coaching/mentoring to develop internal team members.
•    Provide input to personnel decisions including FTEs and staff augmentation.
•    Leads and/or assists team members and customers with problem solving related to systems or application performance.
•    Manage and maintains change management procedures to ensure system availability, accuracy and reliability meet corporate SLAs.
•    Coordinate team resources to address support activities and project staffing as required to meet department and corporate objectives.
•    Partner with the business to identify technical and process related solutions to business issues.
•    Work with the business to identify project requirements, develop business case, build resource plans and build project plans.
•    Acts as problem coordinator for corporate problems; identifies and analyzes problems, devises solutions through cross-functional teamwork and determines corrective action.
•    Continuous evaluation of technologies to identify opportunities to expand or improve the offerings to our business and services.

Job Requirements

 

•    Must have 15+ experience
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
•    Experience managing direct reports, along with 3rd party vendors.
•    Vendor management including product/service offering evaluation, contracts, etc.
•    Prior experience of managing Office 365 architecture and engineering services (System implementation, migration and support).
•    Exposure to integrations with IAM Systems.
•    Knowledge of GCP and Azure cloud services
•    Contribute to the creation of a long term, scalable architecture by working with the vendors, business, info security, and operations teams.
•    Prior exposure to data analytics and reporting tools.
•    Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
•    Ability to lead a large team or architects, engineers and support team members.
•    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, business units and vendors.
•    Effective oral and written communication skills.
