Job Description

Sabre Travel Solutions is looking for a talented Account Director to own the sales and strategic management for TripActions. The individual selected for this position is responsible for the daily operations, driving share performance, improving product adoption, creating a winning strategy, proactively shaping the Sabre-TripActions relationship with key stakeholders across the enterprise. Reporting to the Managing Director of Global Accounts and Corporate Solutions, we are looking for an experienced team member that is passionate about success and is able to produce excellent work and take ownership of results. 


What will you achieve?

  • Sabre Travel Solutions is seeking a strategic, innovative Account Director (AD) to join our Global Accounts team
  • The candidate will be part of a team driving significant volumes and will play a pivotal role in the future growth of the organization
  • Employs value-based selling to highlight Sabre service offerings and products and explore new opportunities to build commercial relationships
  • Self-guided but working closely and collaboratively with the Global Online team, Marketing, Product Management, Regional Leaders, Technical teams, Finance and Legal to ensure are all aligned on strategic direction and driving performance
  • Responsible for driving revenue through client engagement, business development and execution of Sabre strategy
  • The AD provides account management, operational analysis and insights of agency performance and drives commercial opportunities with the customer
  • This role Interacts with a variety of executives, provides product information, and presents product demonstrations
  • They will maintain and expand global customer relationships and provide an exceptional customer experience. The AD will be a resource and leader for a variety of projects and initiatives and operate with a broad latitude for actions and decisions.

Job Requirements

Must Have Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Travel Management Companies and Online travel agencies along with an extensive knowledge of the travel market landscape, key trends, opportunities and strengths
  • 10+ years extensive commercial experience, leveraging a solution-oriented approach to selling and account management along with advanced negotiation skills in a globally matrixed environment
  • 5+ years domain experience in the travel sector, account management experience
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams within a matrix organization with skills to drive effective decision making
  • Strong quantitative and business development skills including financial modeling and forecasting
  • Persuasive negotiator with a high expectation to succeed
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Successful track record seeking and achieving continuous improvement
  • Exceptional communications skills, exhibits a professional presence required to command respect both internally and externally, including the ability to present to C level executives.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is helpful.
  • Location: Southlake, Texas, USA preferred
  • Travel: 25%
