Job Description

 

As the Director Organization & Talent Development, you will drive and support organization-wide initiatives focused on increasing organizational, leader and team member performance. You will partner with key business leaders and the People Team to assess the business; design organizations, processes and roles; and deploy and reinforce organization and talent effectiveness solutions. You will measure the effectiveness of these initiatives and report results and insights to key stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as an organization strategy consultant and content expert to assess and diagnose organizational issues, including organization structure, business process re-design, capability assessments, role definitions, etc.
  • Partner with leaders to understand the business needs, diagnose key challenges, design and implement appropriate solutions, and measure impact.
  • Provide internal consulting to the organization and its leaders to assist in driving successful business results and team effectiveness.
  • Lead organization change efforts impacting multiple levels of stakeholders throughout the organization by providing expertise, assessments, analysis, team facilitation and solutions.
  • Deliver organization, leadership and talent effectiveness services and solutions for strategic initiatives to ensure that leadership teams are aligned around foundational elements such as the mission, values, behaviors, and how they can best work together to achieve desired results.
  • Develop project structure, approach, and plans for organizational effectiveness solutions working on both an individual basis and with teams, while engaging and collaborating with appropriate key stakeholders. 

Job Requirements

 

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organization Development, Talent Management or I/O Psychology required
  • 10+ years of demonstrated experience in organization development/effectiveness and internal company business consulting 
  • Deep proficiency in pragmatically applying organization development theories, philosophies and methods to business challenges
  • Ability to lead organization design and alignment efforts including designing operating models, organization structures, and defining roles and responsibilities and decision rights. 
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems quickly, efficiently, and collaboratively. Able to thrive in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment
  • Experience working in a global environment across a matrixed organization
  • Proficiency in Project/Program and Change Management.
