Job Description

The Digital Strategy leader will be responsible for the Sabre Hospitality Digital Marketing business line.  The leader of Digital Strategy will report to the SVP of Product Management and Marketing.  In this capacity the they will engage with CMOs (Chief Marketing Officer), CDOs (Chief Digital Office), CIOs and others in the leading global hospitality organizations in a sales and sales support role.  
Directs group responsible for web site advertising and marketing. Looks for trends and use patterns to identify and quantify customer habits and behavior. Develops customer profiling techniques and implements models for customer validation. Tracks, measures and determines the effectiveness of e-Commerce applications and on-line marketing efforts in terms of ROI, profitability, customer satisfaction and loyalty. Determines methods and techniques to build and enrich the marketing database.

•    Responsible for operational matters and effective achievement of objectives
•    Consistently works on complex issues or with complex ideas or situations across scope of responsibility; Able to navigate by having in-depth functional, company and industry knowledge. 
•    Interactions required with executives, company peers, advisors.
•    Spotting trends and technologies that play key roles in the lives of our core hotelier audiences
•    Work with global leaders’ sales leaders and marketing to ensure sales targets are met and exceed.
•    Deep understanding Meta/SEM/SEO/Social strategies that drive engagement, sales/demand and ultimately revenue.  Primary channels of Google, Bing, TripAdvisor, Facebook.
•    Highly entrepreneurial, thrive on collaboration, and possess a holistic and deep understanding of the elements of a profitable e-commerce operation, including site experience, merchandising, content, digital marketing and analytics, client engagement, conversion, and retention, and the technical aspects of website design and management. 
•    Translate industry research into best and next practices for the organization
•    With full P&L accountability, they must have a business owner’s mindset, continuously seeking out new initiatives that will increase sales and further the Company’s overall strategic direction. 
•    Managers via managers or technical / professional experts; receives direction in the form of goals and project assignments.
 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. 


EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years related experience; previous supervisory experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Expert knowledge of marketing principles and of the organization's marketing practices and policies.
