Key Responsibilities & Technologies 

 


• Manage the system and application changes for one or more product areas
• Manage and support on-premise development environments 
• Provision and manage Cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform <GCP>; Amazon WebServices <AWS>)
• Design and enhance current pipeline to extend into a true end-to-end CI/CD pipeline
• Collaborate with Engineering teams in an Agile environment to remove roadblocks and facilitate successful delivery of the work items
• Proactively share knowledge on DevOps best practices, tools and emerging technologies
• Knowledge of Change Management Procedures and tools (e.g. Service Now)
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement innovative solutions to drive efficiencies, simplicities and speed
• Participate in long-term strategies for scalability, stability and high availability of platform

Job Requirements


 
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as SysAdmin/DevOps engineer with a working understanding of the ITIL process
• Strong experience with Red Hat Linux; must feel comfortable with shell scripting
• Strong expertise in Cloud, managing cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform <GCP>; Amazon WebServices <AWS>)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with open source tools (e.g. Ansible, Jenkins, Git, etc.)
• Fundamental knowledge of Load balancers (F5), firewalls, HTTP and TCP/IP protocols, Monitoring tools such as AppD
• Proactive team player with the ability to work in a globally dynamic environment. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously, strong organizational skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work within an office/on-premise setting or from their home office
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, computer science degree preferred
