Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated Segment Marketing Intern who will well in a dynamic and exciting environment where passion, accountability, and curiosity are valued. This person will develop an understanding of customer needs within the supply lines of business, and help support the current marketing plan.  Additionally, the Segment Marketing Intern will have an understanding of basic marketing concepts and fundamentals to include targeting, messaging, measuring, reporting, and analysis. 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Is enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with a focus on Marketing Management
  • Has exceptional communications skills
  • Can create content or copy
  • Has fantastic organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Has the ability to ask questions and take the initiative on marketing projects

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Develop an understanding customer needs.
  • Support the current marketing plan and activities leveraging various marketing tactics to include: integration into global/regional marketing campaigns, thought leadership development, events, media/PR, and collateral/marketing assets. 
  • Monitor industry trends (e.g. industry regulations, technology trends, macroeconomic conditions, business processes, and challenges) and learn travel/technology terminology

Job Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • A basic understanding of the travel market landscape that may include competitive information, key trends, strengths, opportunities and threats.
