Job Description



In this role within Global Product Development, you will help guide and mature multiple cross-functional disciplines: finance, legal, business, engineering and project management and sits at the intersection of business and engineering.  We ensure the organization executes to plan --- financial, people, customer and operations --- by providing a cross-functional perspective. We enable the smooth operation of the entire global org by helping to create and reinforce business processes and improve efficiencies.

This is a general description and may not contain all of employee’s assigned responsibilities.  Under general direction, employee may:


•    Work with key stakeholders in the Global Product Development organization and partner organizations to drive our operational planning
•    Partner with HR on recruiting, retaining and supporting our workforce
•    Collaborate with Workforce Management to ensure we are leveraging best practices for our teams and acting on insights from data
•    Partner with Procurement and trusted partners to supplement our workforce as needed
•    Responsible for preparing and analyzing various business operations reports.
•    Provide financial analysis while partnering with the Finance organization 
•    Ensure the organizations stays on target with financial goals  
•    Identify common problems and operational inefficiencies across the technology organization and come up with creative solutions to eliminate them
•    Communicate, written and verbally, with senior management on our planning and execution status.

What you bring:


•    Experience doing operational planning and headcount management.
•    Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; also able to delegate work to team members.
•    Comfortable working with and tailoring content to all levels of the organization - from interns to entry level to managers to C-level
•    Exercises independent judgment.
•    Demonstrated examples of leadership and ability to influence
•    Advanced Excel and Data Analysis capabilities
•    Strong attention to detail and willingness to roll up sleeves
•    Applies advanced skills, concepts, practices and procedures to complete several small to medium projects or a complex component of a large project. 
•    Receives general direction on assignments, with minimal review. 
•    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Industrial Engineering degree preferred.  
•    Minimum 8 years related experience. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
•    Advanced computer software skills
