The Technology Engineering and Operations (TE&O) – Business Operations & Planning organization’s primary responsibility is to plan, track and optimize technology spend across an over $550 million portfolio.  The organization works closely with the TE&O team, Business units and our Finance and Procurement partners to establish core KPIs and track all spend to meet or exceed plan.  The organization partners with our product development and operations teams to identify potential optimizations that will improve cost efficiency, develop plans to implement those optimizations and manage those plans to ensure that the desired optimizations are delivered to the business on schedule while minimizing risk to the business.

As a member of the Business Ops & Planning organization you will be responsible for managing a significant outsource provider contract, providing performance reports and metrics for the overall performance of our business objectives intended to be achieved through this agreement.  This will be achieved through routine internaction with the supplier and internal groups/individuals to ensure the highest quality of Service Delivery is being achieved on time and within budget.  In addition, this individual will provide  coordination and optimization of license and support renewals (hardware/software/services) for the TE&O organization in support of meeting our contractual obligations and financial targets as well as other functions related to managing the business outcomes as it pertains to our 3rd party suppliers.

•    Manage a significant outsource provider relationship and ensure cost is optimized and tracking to plan
•    Assist with license and maintenance renewals and related requirements gathering and validation
•    Assist with the management of 3rd party software spend across Security, Personal Technology and Operations and Engineering
•    Support software compliance efforts and related vendor driven license audits
•    Identify opportunities and develop plans to deliver optimizations that improve our overall cost efficiency
•    Develop and track KPIs to ensure overall cost efficiency is being achieved within area of responsibility
•    Support Technology Transformation effort to migrate on premise environments to the Cloud

Job Requirements


EDUCATION:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5+ years related experience managing technology vendor contracts and suppliers 

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Stong business and financial acumen
•    Strong knowledge of IT hardware and software environment and products
•    Experience with IT asset management and software license compliance
•    Experienced in driving IT cost efficiencies within vendor contracts
•    Have sound quantitative and analytical skills (financial and non-financial)
•    Strong working knowledge of Vendor/Supplier relations.
•    Strong MS Office skills
