Job Description

 

Sabre Travel Solutions is looking for a talented Car, Cruise and Leisure Manager to support its Lodging Ground & Sea Distribution businesses. The Lodging Ground & Sea team play a critical role in the Sabre Travel Solutions GDS Marketplace. As part of this team, the individual selected for this job is responsible for the distribution relationships for car rental providers, tour operators, cruise lines and a myriad of lodging supply customers globally.   #LI-RK1

The Car, Cruise and Leisure Manager position will lead a team of dedicated account managers and is responsible for the daily operations for our Lodging Ground & Sea supply partners. This role will also be responsible for negotiating contract renewals, driving issue resolution, and fostering revenue growth for our partners and Sabre.

Role and Responsibilities  

What will you achieve?

  • Provide strategic guidance and foster collaboration across teams to drive value for our Car Cruise and Leisure business.
  • Increase the long-term commercial vitality for both Sabre and our supplier partners.
  • Engage with key suppliers to understand their needs and helps suppliers achieve their objectives for the distribution network.
  • Coaching and and mentor skills through management of direct reports.

Job Requirements

 

Must Have Skills:

  • 6+ years combined relevant professional experience.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen displaying the highest ethical standards and impeccable character.
  • A fundamental understanding of sales process and of the travel market landscape.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
  • A process improvement orientation and desire to achieve higher levels of organizational excellence.
  • Successful track record seeking and achieving continuous improvement, as well as reducing cycle times improving project performance.

 

Nice To Have Skills:

•    7-10 years of hands-on customer operations and sales management experience.
