Job Description

 

Sabre Travel Solutions (TS) is seeking an Account Director to manage relationships with a couple North American strategic airline customers. (United, Delta, Air Canada, Alaska, etc., for example.)  Reporting to the Regional Director of North America, they will drive business development efforts while ensuring Sabre and client objectives are met across a portfolio of existing customers. The position requires a confident, intellectually curious business manager and skilled relationship architect who can hit the ground running to quickly build advisory status within their accounts. This is a fast-paced environment and will expose your talents to internal leaders shortly after onboarding.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and engage in consultative sales pursuits with strategic partners 
  • Engage with customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or deliver product demonstrations
  • Negotiate, develop, interpret and execute on strategic partner contracts
  • Positively affect the relationship from both a financial & product standpoint
  • Coordinate across various internal functional groups to ensure customer success 
  • Plan and lead customer-facing meetings and presentations
  • Act as client advocate and primary point of contact for commercial and service issues

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years Account Manager experience. (Airline IT or Travel IT space a plus.)
  • Highly analytical with a strong customer presence
  • Skilled negotiator & natural problem solver
  • Executive presence is key
  • Top notch communication and presentation skills
  • Superb time management and organization
  • Fundamental understanding of Airline IT and distribution markets strongly desired
  • Basic working knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Travel 25% - 50% of the time (when travel resumes)
